- If possible, turn your cell phone on silent and remove environmental distractions
- Find your coloring tools (colored pencils, water color paints, crayons, fine-point sharpie, acrylic paint etc)
- Sit down in a comfortable space to layout your coloring materials
- Choose a page from your coloring book
- Pick a color scheme to use on your coloring page
- Take a deep breath
- Color away!
- Stop coloring once you no longer feel relaxed or once your mind has been distracted
